Terms of Use
Last updated: April 29, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of CouponHive (the “Service”), an editorial-first savings publication operated by CouponHive's editorial team. By visiting the Service or using any of its content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is informational
CouponHive publishes editorial coverage of retail promotions, including discount codes, deals, store guides, and category buying guides. The Service is provided for general informational purposes. Nothing on CouponHive constitutes financial, tax, purchasing, investment, or legal advice, and nothing here should be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.
No affiliation with retailers
CouponHive is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or controlled by any retailer covered on this site, except where a specific affiliate or partnership relationship is independently and explicitly disclosed. All retailer names, brand names, logos, and trade dress are the property of their respective owners and are referenced on CouponHive for identification purposes only, under the doctrine of nominative fair use as recognized in United States trademark law.
No guarantee that codes work
Our editorial team hand-checks every code before it is published, and we run a daily verification sweep to catch codes that have stopped working. Despite this, retailers control their own promotions, and any published code may expire, be revoked, be modified, or become subject to revised eligibility requirements at any time without notice. CouponHive makes no warranty that any specific code will be valid at the moment you attempt to use it, nor that it will result in any specific saving. Always confirm offer terms at checkout on the retailer's official website. See our Disclaimer for the full coupon-validity language.
Your responsibility for retailer terms
Every retailer covered on CouponHive has its own terms of sale, return policy, eligibility rules, and (where applicable) loyalty-program rules. When you click through from CouponHive to a retailer and complete a transaction, you are entering a contract directly with that retailer, governed by that retailer's terms — not by CouponHive's terms. You are responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with the retailer's rules. We are not a party to your transaction and have no authority to honor, modify, or extend any retailer offer.
Our content is copyrighted
The original editorial content published on CouponHive — including (but not limited to) buying guides, store pages, category overviews, written explanations, comparisons, rankings, and editorial commentary — is protected by copyright and is owned by CouponHive or its contributors. You may read, share, and link to our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution.
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- Reproduce, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of our editorial content
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically harvest pages from CouponHive
- Use our content (or paraphrases of it) to train machine-learning models, build derivative datasets, or generate competing publications
- Repackage CouponHive's code listings on another coupon site, browser extension, deal feed, or similar service
- Remove or obscure attribution, bylines, or copyright notices
Coupon codes themselves are facts about retailer promotions and are not copyrightable. Our written editorial about those codes is.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, its databases, or any system connected to it
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service, including by overloading it, attempting denial-of-service, or running automated traffic against it without permission
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in correspondence with our editorial team
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with another reader's use of it
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CouponHive disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any defect will be corrected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CouponHive and its editors, contributors, and operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including (without limitation) lost profits, lost savings, lost time, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your reliance on any content, or any transaction you complete with a third-party retailer, regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CouponHive, its editors, contributors, and operators from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be reflected on this page; continued use of the Service after the revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a revision, your remedy is to stop using the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
